Dana has extensive executive experience building and scaling technology enterprises, from conception through development and market entry and guiding them into successful liquidity events. With over 25 years of experience building businesses in the communications, networking, signal processing, software and other technology areas, Dana has created and led businesses focused on government and commercial markets in both start-up and Fortune 500 environments, and has built businesses from the ground up to over $100M in annual revenue. He has a track record of earning significant investor returns for over two decades.
Dana has served on various Boards of Directors and advisory boards, as well as working with incubators, guiding entrepreneurs through launch, growth and liquidity events. Previously, he held various management roles at Ford Aerospace, Loral, and Lockheed Martin Space in positions focused on creating and delivering value by developing key technology areas and generating profits. During this time, Dana worked extensively on bridging the commercial-military technology gap and creating commercial businesses.
Dana holds a BSEE from Tulane University, an MBA from Golden Gate University. He is also a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, where he teaches MBA courses in leadership and other subjects, and served on the Board of Trustees of Golden Gate University including serving as Chair. He also sits on the Board of Advisors for the School of Science and Engineering at Tulane University.
