Enterprise Connectivity

By 2019, 80% of all IT budgets will be committed to cloud apps and solutions, driven by digitization, automation, and cost reduction. Enterprise connectivity, such as MPLS connections at both the branch and the DC, are inflexible and expensive. In addition, new levels of digitization at enterprise branches means that low speed connections (e.g. xDSL) currently used as backup for fiber-based connections to enterprise branch locations can no longer keep up with needs of the enterprise.

Enterprises are turning to SD-WAN solutions and connectivity via private networks or ISP networks in parallel to their expensive MPLS provider, which allows the enterprise to take control of their connectivity needs as demand requires.

Alex 1.0 used with an SD-WAN is the perfect alternative solution to current low capacity branch connectivity.
